Great Beginnings on August 11, 2017

Great Beginnings is a chance for us to welcome you to our district. The day begins with a welcome from our superintendent. We will then rotate through sessions focusing on topics ranging from accessing email, taking attendance, our data and testing platform, district initiatives, and signing up for professional development. Additionally, you will have a chance to meet with representatives from F-SUTA,  Fairfield-Suisun Unified Teacher's Association, as well as grade level leaders, department chairs, and Special Education Program Specialists. We hope to see you there!

New Teacher Professional Development

Does this mark your very first year of teaching? Will you be setting up your own classroom for the very first time? If so, we'd love to invite you to a two-day workshop to get you off on the right foot. This workshop will cover topics ranging from creating an engaging and supportive learning environment, establishing routines and procedures, lesson planning, classroom management, and much more. CLICK HERE to RSVP for this workshop.

Curriculum Adoption Professional Development

FSUSD is currently in year one of a TK-11 English Language Arts adoption and in year two of a TK-5 mathematics adoption. There will be professional development for these curricular areas on August 7, 8 and 9th. These are three-day PD's.

Please note, this form is only for teachers new to FSUSD who do not have an active district email and wish to sign-up for the Curriculum Adoption Professional Development. Current FSUSD employees with access to district email must sign up for all professional development (PD) using PD Place: https://fsusd.pdplace.com/.

The PD offered for grades TK-5 is Benchmark (ELA adoption) and Every Day Math (math adoption). The PD offered for grades 6-11 English teachers is Springboard (ELA adoption). After completing this form, you will be registered for the appropriate PD and should receive a confirmation with the date, time, and location for your scheduled PD. Please allow 2 business days for the processing of your request.
